Air Freight Services

KVN Logistics is currently a partner of many major airlines operating in Vietnam. KVN Logistics specializes in providing air freight services from major airports in Vietnam to international airports worldwide and vice versa, with the fastest service and optimal costs for businesses.

1. What is International Air Freight?
International air freight is a form of transportation that uses aircraft to transport goods. Goods are carried either by cargo aircraft or in the belly hold of passenger planes. This type of transport is relatively young, having developed in the early 20th century.
While air freight accounts for a smaller volume of transported goods, it represents up to 30% in terms of value.

2. Characteristics of Air Freight
Air freight routes are mostly direct lines connecting two transport points.
High transportation speed, large payload capacity, and quick transit times.
Air transport is safer than other modes of transportation.
Utilizes high technology.
Offers standard services superior to other transport modes.
Simplifies documentation and procedures compared to other transportation methods.
2.1 Advantages of Air Freight:
Rapid transit time, meeting delivery needs within a few days or even the same day.
Not hindered by terrain like road or sea transport, capable of connecting almost all countries worldwide.
Fast service.
Minimizes losses, damages, or petty theft.
Lower insurance costs due to fewer risks compared to other methods.
Minimal storage costs due to quick handling of procedures.
2.2 Disadvantages of Air Freight:
High transportation costs.
Not suitable for low-value items.
Susceptible to weather conditions; bad weather like fog, storms can delay or cancel flights, disrupting services.
Stricter regulations and laws to ensure security and flight safety.

3. KVN Logistics' International Air Freight Services
KVN Logistics partners with major airlines such as Vietnam Airlines, Hong Kong Airlines, Japan Airlines, China Airlines, etc. Using KVN Logistics' air freight services, customers can be assured that their goods can be easily transported to any country across various territories.
We have experience in transporting all types of goods, including hazardous and oversized items.
KVN Logistics' air freight services fully support all business needs for importing and exporting goods domestically and internationally.

4. Air Freight Process at KVN Logistics
Here is the process for international air freight at KVN Logistics:

  1. Step 1: Customers provide complete information (item name, quantity, number of packages, weight, expected shipment date, delivery terms, etc.). KVN Logistics provides a quote and consults on the schedule based on the customer's cargo information.

  2. Step 2: Issue Booking Note: flight time, flight schedule, cut-off time.

  3. Step 3: Inspect goods, affix Shipping Mark on packages, issue weighing tickets at the airport, and attach weighing tickets to packages.

  4. Step 4: KVN Logistics issues an Air Waybill to the customer and regularly updates the shipping route and arrival status of the goods.

  5. Step 5: Issue Debit Note and invoice for payment once the delivery process is completed.

  6. Step 6: Once the goods are safely delivered to the recipient, we will notify the customer to keep them informed.
